- Does Oceana have to know me to do SoulArt for me? No. She will tune into your essence and draw what she sees. Here is feedback about a drawing Oceana did for someone she has never met: “Our daughter was really moved by her drawing. I believe it has given her confidence and valuable insight as she moves forward toward her dream." SH Tacoma, WA
- Does Oceana have to interview me to do a SoulArt piece for me? No. If you would like her to focus on a particular aspect of your life, let her know. Otherwise she will draw your essence.
- Can I ask for a drawing of someone else? Oceana will do a drawing of your relationship with that person. If you would like a drawing of the person, Oceana feels it is most respectful to ask their permission first. She will then send the drawing directly to them and they can share with you if they wish.
- Is my drawing likely to contain a lot of dark and ugly things? No. Your SoulArt drawing is a representation of your essence. Each person’s essence is, by definition, very beautiful. You may see a shadow or dark area that represents something to be worked through, but your entire drawing will not be that. Here is feedback from a SoulArt recipient with that concern: “I was a little hesitant to have you draw for me at first as I was afraid it would involve big black circles or something. Actually, the drawing was "spot on" as they say. It accurately depicted both the good and troubled areas. Without really knowing me that well you were able to call my attention to areas I need to work on and gave me hope that difficult parts are changeable.”
- Why do I have to check for availability of expedited service? SoulArt is very personalized and requires Oceana’s attention. Often she can do a drawing and email and mail it quickly. Occasionally if she is traveling or ill, she may not be able to do so.
- I’ve never heard of something like this. How is this possible? Oceana has worked in the healing arts field since 1992. Her experience includes massage therapy, cranio-sacral therapy, hypnotherapy, rebirthing, Healing From the Body Level Up sm, and Matrix Energetics. Over the years she has developed her intuition and trained herself to live by her intuitive hits and hunches. Her intuitive insights often provide the missing link for clients who have already done years of growth and transformational work. With SoulArt she is applying those skills using a different medium.
- What forms of payment are accepted? Cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and PayPal payments are graciously accepted. You specifiy this information on the SoulArt Order Form.
- What if I have questions about my drawing? Be sure to read the document “Notes about SoulArt” which has valuable suggestions regarding your SoulArt piece. Click here to download “Notes About SoulArt”. If you have simple questions, email them to Oceana and she will reply. Please allow a week for an answer. - Once I have asked Oceana to do a SoulArt drawing for me, how long will it be until I receive it? Allow 1-2 weeks for receipt of your SoulArt piece. Oceana’s goal is to do the drawings in a timely way. Each drawing requires her focused time and attention. There is also administrative work that takes time packaging, weighing, calculating postage, etc.
- Does Oceana keep a copy of my SoulArt Drawing? Yes, Oceana keeps a digital photo of your drawing. She must do this in case you would like a consultation about your drawing after you have seen it. She reserves the right to put your drawing on her flyer or website. Drawings that are used as examples on her flyers and web site, do NOT include identifying material. Your name and explanatory material will NEVER be shared.
- How do I order a SoulArt Drawing? To order a SoulArt drawing, fill out the order form and arrange to make payment. Oceana will then confirm your order and do your drawing for you.
- What is meant by a sliding scale? With a sliding scale, you choose the amount you wish to pay within the guidelines provided.
