May
the poor find wealth,
Those weak with sorrow find joy.
May the
forlorn find new hope, constant happiness and prosperity.
May the
frightened cease to be afraid,
And those bound be free.
May the
weak find power,
And may their hearts join in friendship

Dalai Lama

What's Going On?
Many
people have been suffering with dizziness, vertigo and headaches in the
past weeks. I had a short bout with vertigo myself.
Keep
in mind that the earthquake in Chili was so huge that it moved the earth
on it's axis and shifted time. I t is hard to comprehend that
level of magnitude.
I suspect this is contributing to
some of the unusual symptoms many of us are experiencing.
Of course, have a proper medical evaluation of
any symptoms that persist.

Cancer Resource List Available
During her recent
experience with cancer, Oceana sought support and treatment from a
variety of sources including the traditional medical system,
naturopathy, homeopathy, Chinese Medicine, Art, Drama and Music Therapy,
Support Groups and Retreats. She has put a list of the best of the best on her web site.
Please
forward it to anyone who is facing cancer.
Click here to view the resources list.
Oceana created this list during a very
stressful and challenging time in her life as she wanted her experience
to assist other people. Please show your appreciation by
donating.
Oceana
has been asked by two doctors to write a book describing how to face a
cancer diagnosis consciously and how to make conscious educated
choices. She is currently working on this project and will let you
know when it is completed.

Notes
from the Fretboard
Both Strum Your Bliss Guitar Circles are going
really well. Participants have been receiving music stands for
Christmas and birthday presents and have been inspiring their children
to learn music as well.
One woman has gone from struggling to
practice at all to looking forward to going home so she can play her
guitar.
Another strummer has taken a familiar tune and created
her own lyrics to play and sing for a friend's birthday. She has
about 6 months playing experience and has done this twice.
Most participants say it took them a year to
get up the courage to come and that once they joined, they wished they
hadn't waited.
Here are the words of one participant:
"Practice
time at home has turned into an oasis. I am doing this for me and
I love it. Oceana has made this a seamless process. I
started knowing absolutely nothing and she is so fun and encouraging
that it didn't matter. There are no wrong moves with Oceana, just
pure support. If you are hovering out there, I encourage you to
make a move..." Lisa March 2010
